Find out first the kind of services you are willing to offer your clients. Do you limit your services to corporate business travels? Or you want to be an exclusive cruise agent? The wider your scope is, the bigger your initial expenses will be.
But just because you cater to almost all kinds of travels doesn’t mean you can’t keep your start up cost to a minimum. Of course you need to give away leaflets and you will consume electricity, gas, paper, and other things you might need as you get started. But still, it is safe to say that you can start your home based travel business with no upfront fee.
